Damon Downs, MD, founded Foundational Science Educators to help students navigate the challenges of learning anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and the biomedical sciences.

Having taught foundational science material to students ranging from undergraduates to incoming medical students, he understands both the academic demands of professional training programs and the preparation required to succeed within them. His experience includes developing educational materials, designing learning experiences, and implementing evidence-based teaching strategies that promote understanding and long-term retention.

His approach combines scientific expertise with a deep understanding of how students learn, using clear instruction, innovative educational technologies, and personalized support to make complex material more accessible.
